Celebrating our Missionaries!

December 7, 2018

For the past 29 years Mission Ebenezer Family Church has dedicated a special Sunday in December to raise missions awareness and much needed financial support for our U.S. and Global Missionaries.  We would like to expand our missions emphasis and focus as a church.  Besides raising money for missions through our food booths at the festival we would like you to consider making a faith promise for missions.  You can pray about making a monthly contribution or a one-time gift for missions.  Another way we would like to increase awareness is by highlighting 4 missionaries each month through bulletins, church picture slides, and special
prayers in sanctuary and children’s ministry.  Imagine that…a church that supports, prays for, prepares and sends missionaries.  This past year we sustained approximately 40 missionaries throughout the world and others as occasioned by need and crisis.  Their works range from an orphanage in Columbia, to evangelistic puppet ministries in urban areas of Argentina, to high school and middle school age focus ministry in Los Angeles, to a Christian school for ministry and discipleship in India.  Praise God!  What creative ministries!  Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19).  Our annual budget for missions is roughly $30,000 each year or more and by God’s grace and your faithfulness in giving, we have always made sure our
missionaries receive the help they need to preach God’s word and reach the lost in places we cannot go. Each year we increase our missions giving and this next year it will be no different.  Again, we would like for each one of you to prayerfully consider making an annual pledge to missions.  Whether it is $10 or $100 per month or an end of the year gift, your generous support makes a difference in the kingdom of God.  We thank the Lord for each and every one of you!

I believe in Missions,
Pastor Josh
